These egoic traits are can be understood to be various patterns:

These patterns can be further broken down into sub-catorgories that can be measurable and quantified at a certain level of reduction. Therapuetic Program – This program is centered around the treatment of PTSD, Depression and Addiction. The Ibogaine/5MeO treatment has been producing overwhelmingly positive results for the past 10 years especially in war veterans suffering from PTSD and more recently in addiction where addicts have had their desire to use their DOC completely lifted. People who suffer from these afflictions usually have very strong ego attachments and they will find it very difficult to let go of their identity, much the same as they refuse to let go of their addiction/attachment. The use of Ibogaine beforehand provides a useful tool to ensure the 5MeO experience reaches breakthrough (non-duality) and the person does not suffer in a state of limbo between the dual/non-dual states of consciousness (some parts of the egoic structure release and others do not which can result in a confusing and undesirable experience). When the ego refuses to let go in all ways is that which Fieldlabs will endeavor to avoid happening to an individual as this is a terrifying sometimes traumatic experience. Fieldlabs will ensure that there is a feeling of comfort and serenity and that a safe environment is created for all. The experience will be monitored at all times including biometric readings for heart rate and breathing.

Science and Consciousness
Dr. Donald Hoffmann, PhD is professor of cognitive science at the University of California, Irvine. He is studying consciousness, visual perception and evolutionary psychology using mathematical models and psychophysical experiments. James “Kiwi” Oroc (Roc) was an author, photographer, artist, world-class paraglider and the pioneer of the 5MeO sub-culture.
